Breakfast at the Farm

This was Lillianna's favorite part of the day- they had dried corn kernals to play in like a sand box. She was thrilled!

Saturday, we went to the Kenosha Dairy breakfast. It was a pretty cool event, over 2000 people were served breakfast at a local dairy farm. They had a lot of things to do and great food. Breakfast was eggs, muffins, bread, yogart, milk, juice and ICE CREAM with strawberries! Ice cream for breakfast! It was our first really hot and humid morning too, so it was great.

Lillianna was so excited to see the cows when we walked into the barn. She kept pointing and exclaiming "Cow! Cow!" Getting close to them on the other hand was a totally different story. They are creatures to be admired from a distance in her book.

The kitties on the other hand, were a different story. She ran right up to them and claimed them. Mike swore she could read the sign that said "free to a good home" because she kept pointing and saying "Kitty! Mine!" We didn't think out kitty would approve, however, so on the farm they stayed.

How fun! Nick would have been begging for a dump or scoop truck after seeing those corn kernels. :)
