Watermark Concert

This group, Watermark, is a team sponosored by the same organazation that I went to Africa through. They traveled to Germany and Eastern Europe, as well as the U.S. We had a great time tonight as they played an outside concert. We had to move them under the carport because we had some small rain showers earlier. It cleared up as soon as they were set up. It brough back a lot of memories of being on team and also of my time in Berlin. Some of them stayed with families I knew and they lead worship at the congregation I served. It is a small world!

Tiny Bubbles

So, we are always looking for the perfect diaper detergent and I think we might have found it. There is a new one out called Tiny Bubbles that sounds great. We are excited to give it a try. It is not only good for diapers, but good for the enviornment too. I figure since we live right next to one of the world's largest fresh water lakes, we want to try to keep it as clean as possible.

The Great Circus Parade

We went to the Great Circus Parade in Milwaukee today and it was amazing! It was Lillianna's first real parade and she loved it. When it first got started she kept saying "more, more" whenever there was a break between things. It was about 2 and half hours long, so the end was a bit much for a little girl who missed her nap, but all in all she did great. It was a memory making day!

There was music

There tons of marching bands. It seemed like most of the time they were just playing the drums when they went by us. Lillianna didn't mind. She played along and yelled, "Drums!"
This one had a bunch of bells that a guy was making songs by pulling on one bell at a time. There was also a couple of pipe organs and a steam organ wagon as well.

Lions and Tigers and Monkeys and Snakesand girafes and horses!

They said that there were over 300 horses in the parade. I think that was an underestimate, there seemed like a lot more than that as all the carts were pulled by big teams, plus there were tons of others in other parts of the show.

4th of July Weekend

Lillianna enjoying mommy's birthday cake

Swinging

Waiting for her first fireworks. She was not sure what to think of them when they started. Unfortunatly, they did a bunch of SUPER loud ones at the beginning to get everyones attention. The poor girl was literally knocked off her feet by them. It took a good 20 minutes for her heart to stop racing and for her to loosen her death grip on me. I think she still enjoyed them, but would have preferred watching from the car.

That is a caterpiller in her hand. She thought it was pretty cool.

She also enjoyed the stickers from mommy's birthday card. She wore the star on her nose the rest of the day.
