Dear Mr Easter Bunny,

Next year you can feel free to skip all the presents in the basket and just leave me more eggs filled with candy.

Lillianna's First Play

Lillianna checking out "Tinkerbell" with Wendy and Peter Pan
She is still not sure...

We took Lillianna to her first play, Peter Pan, at the Racine Theater Guild. Since she didn't know what a play was, we told her she was going to get to see Tinkerbell. She was expecting a fairy in a tutu with wings, she got a green sparkley ball with voice overs. Needless to say she was not impressed. Even after meeting Tinkerbell she kept asking where she was. She was not the only one either. You could hear the calls of lots of little girls in the theater asking where she was. I am not sure it was a huge hit with her, maybe next year will be better for her.

Trip to the candy factory

So, shortly before Easter we headed down to Jelly Belly for a tour. The tour is pretty lame because as we found out once we got there, it isn't actually a factory, it is just a big warehouse. We got to go on a little train ride where you would stop and see different displays they had set up and watch a video about the history and making of Jelly Belly. Lillianna wasn't super impressed with the tour, she would have prefered if the train kept moving. All was forgiven when we got off the train and she recieved a free bag of candy. It didn't rate quite as high as the Chocolate factory, but she does still talk about it on a regular basis. Oh and it was free!
