Walking

So, we have a walker on our hands now. She is still gaining confidence, but will happily walk the 6 to 8 feet between mommy and daddy. She was putting on a show at church last night as she walked from person to person. Oh, do we have an extravert on our hands! She loves the attention.

Birthday Buddies

These two were born two hours and 93 years apart. "Grandpa" Milt couldn't be any prouder! Milt is a member at my congregation and as soon as he found out that we were due on Sept 1, he predicted the baby would be a few days late to come on his brithday. He was right!

We took the birthday kids to Kewpie, a landmark restaurant in Racine, that still has a counter to eat at and the biggest collection of Kewpie Dolls I have ever seen. They also make their own root beer, which is very good.

Birthday Dinner at Red Robin. We missed getting the picture of the serving staff singing to her. She wasn't sure what to think of that. Deer in the headlights look probably describes it best.
