Neighborhood camp 08

Every Summer Our Savior's offers a free neighborhood camp for 4 weeks. It is always a lot of fun (and a lot of work). We get to know kids from the nieghborhood and welcome them. It was another great year of camp, our last day was last Thursday and I am looking forward to have a slower week this week.

Here I crawl

My cool shirt "Here I crawl (because I can't stand yet)." Good Lutheran Humor.
New favorite game in our house chase the cat.
"Here I come!"
After months of slithering around on her belly to get around Lillianna finally figured out (about 2 weeks ago) that crawling in more efficient. We were wondering if she was just going to go straight to walking because she loves to walk with your hands and is creeping along the furniture. Nothing is safe any more.

Happy Birthday Mommy

We celebrated the day (Sunday) by going to a cherry festival at a local apple orchard. We had lunch, looked the goats, and enjoyed some music.

Happy 4th of July

Lillianna was in her first parade yesterday. The day care she goes to sponsored a doll bugy and bike parade, something I guess that is very common around here. So, the kids from the day care the neighborhood came all dressed up with bikes & strollers decorated and pradaded around the neighborhood. There were even folks out on the street in lawn chairs watching the whole parade.

Too cute for words

So, Lillianna has been musical since before she was born. When I was pregnant she reacted a lot to music. One Sunday we had a violinist in church and she moved so much I could see it through my alb. Since being born, music has continued to attrack her, calm her down, and make her happy. She is now getting to the point where she sings while she is playing. The other day as we were driving home, she started singing along to the song on the radio. She did it with her new trick too- using her finger against her lips to make the underwater sound. It was just too cute! She didn't know the words, but she was singing the tune. One of those moments that I wish we could have bottled for later.
